        Quantum sensors in space could detect hostile submarines

        Defense-acquisition and naval officials are exploring deployment of space-based quantum sensor networks to detect and track submarines, transmit that intelligence via secure quantum links, and integrate findings into AI-driven C2 systems. They acknowledge that while the sensor-AI-communications fusion offers competitive advantage, the real challenge lies in organizational transformation, training, and command-culture adaptation.
