The report provides a phase-by-phase analysis of where AI can be embedded in the acquisition lifecycle—from planning to contract closeout and discuses several challenges that DoD, industry, academia, and the Federally Funded Research Centers must address to ensure that AI is effectively integrated into acquisition workflows.
